The Gathering tour, promoted by Destroy All Lines, brings two more 90s and 2000s favourites with it: Third Eye Blind and Fountains of Wayne. After Perth, the tour goes to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, then finishes in Auckland on 7 March.

"A killer night"
The news got Perth fans talking on r/perth. The user who posted it said the last Weezer show they saw here was the Blue Album tour, and called it "a killer night". The promoter says Weezer played Good Things festival in Australia in 2025, but this is a full headline arena run.
It's also a rare visit for the support acts. Third Eye Blind haven't played Australia since 2011. Fountains of Wayne, the band behind Stacy's Mom, last toured here in 1999. They got back together in 2025 after co-founder Adam Schlesinger died in 2020.
Weezer's latest album is Weezer (Gold), released this year, so expect new songs alongside Buddy Holly, Say It Ain't So and Island in the Sun.
