My step-daughter was married on Saturday. The couple chose to hold the proceedings at one of their favourite West Australian locations, Dwellingup. Truth be told, despite living just 40 minutes away I don’t think I had ever been there.
I didn’t get time to explore much, so this isn’t a review of Dwellingup as a whole. But the reception was held at a place called the Blue Wren Cafe, whose praise I want to sing.
I’ve been to more than my fair share of weddings. Perhaps we all feel this way. And as far as venues go you never really know what to expect. But the atmosphere, service, and accommodating attitude the team at Blue Wren delivered was beyond all expectations. My wife couldn’t stop talking about how great they were, and I was also thoroughly impressed. There was a young woman in particular who accommodated us through the evening that was just perfect, whose name I wish I knew.
I made a point to grab coffee there the following day as well, and I also assure you they make a great cup. Service is friendly and warm.
It’s in the middle of town, you can’t miss it.
So on my recommendation pop in there and grab a coffee if you’re heading past. Or if you’re looking for a venue to hire in the area perhaps give them a call too. It’s not massive but it suited our needs perfectly.
Thanks Blue Wren Cafe for helping the night go perfectly.
