The Wadjari (Wajarri) people are the traditional owners of a large stretch of country in the Murchison region. The Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory, home to part of the Square Kilometre Array telescope, sits on Wajarri country and was developed in partnership with the Wajarri Yamatji.
