The Yamatji people are the traditional owners of the Mid West and Murchison regions of Western Australia, including areas around Geraldton, Mullewa and Mount Magnet. The Yamatji nation includes several language groups such as the Wajarri, Badimaya, Naaguja and Nanda peoples.
